I found out something I didn't know or hear about. Arriving home I pressed the off button on my keychain ( of course it didn't shut off) and drove into my garage. Upen exiting the car the alarm was going full bore. I pressed off and it stopped this time. The interesting part is all four cameras star

One of our exterior doors is recessed, and the frame is 4-5". The door opens in, through that 4-5" frame, so placing the sensor anywhere on the frame would mean the door couldn't open (it hits the sensor). Are there any workarounds? If I put the sensor on the trim of the frame, and the other piece o

Friday morning 11:04 AM. Front door camera saw the mailman about 20 ft out on my sidewalk. This is a first, usually it range is 10 feet. Watched him come up the stairs and put package on the porch, then watched him walk all the way back to driveway and down towards the street. For the record it was
Update, The wife and I were walking single file ( skinny sidwalk) and pretty close together. The camera triggerd about 25 ft out. The best yet, all the way out to the driveway. So it has to do with mass, no height. I did raise the camera angle sligh

It seems short people don't trigger until 10 ft. Tall people trigger around 20 ft. Too bad there is no line to see where the camera looking.

1. yes, 2. yes depends on setting 3. Not sure You can set the motion sensor to off when in home mode.
