A while back I posted about how someone had walked into my driveway late at night to check my car doors and how my SimpliSafe Video Doorbell Pro ($180) failed while my Wyze Cam v3s ($30) worked just fine. (Even the Wyze Cam v3 that is inside my house pressed against the window, that is further away

The lost video is SUPER common. Just check Reddit for loads of people complaining.  My camera is literally 3 feet from my Eero access point that is just on the other side of the wall from the doorbell. I thought maybe I had a defective unit bu

Would this mean, given he has a porch light on, he could just turn off the infra-red at night and force to normal camera?   Or are you saying that the normal camera is NEVER used for motion, only PIR - and the IR setting is just for capturing v

Hi, I am new to Simpli Safe. I used to have the Ring alarm pro. I would like to know if the first contact on the list does not answer, do they send out emergency services and then call the 2ed person? If the CO alarm goes off, do they call emergency services first and then call the first person?

The mounting plate supplied with the Smart Lock is not compatible with the KwikSet lock we have installed. The KwikSet has a center "pin" that connects the interior unlock/lock handle to the deadbolt latch, and a second that connects the exterior keyed lock to the interior unlock/lock handle.&nb

@nick_greiwe thanks for the tip. Looks like the deadbolt that comes in the combo lever and deadbolt set they call "Halifax" is actually the Downtown deadbolt: which has a very flat front and the key entry is offset toward the bottom -

@traviswaynemoore the lock itself or the SimpliSafe smart bit? I noticed the latter was on backorder something like 3 months when I last checked.  I assumed they were coming out with a new version but perhaps it was the usual supply chain issu
