Same issue here with the keypad rebooting. Just installed new update. Will see if that fixes it.

Hello, I just installed a new SimpliSafe system, but now I am thinking I will move one of the components, and do not have replacement adhesive. I thought it might come with some replacements? My system did not. I actually need a replacement adhesive for the keypad. I am pretty sure I can buy thes

For the keypads, I highly recommend some small screws. These components are a little on the heavy side, and the tape may not be strong enough to hold them over a very long period of time.  Also, if they fall, they are more expensive to replace

Let me preface this by saying that I plan on calling SimpliSafe but am curious if others have encountered my recent experience. Once upon a time (years ago), when you sent a return to SimpliSafe, you would find a link to a tracking number in your account. I had to swap out my Base Station under w

I had the exact same experience after dropping a return off at the post office over a month ago. I'm curious what you find out. I never contacted SS about it.

I'm having the exact same problem. Customer support walked me through the same troubleshooting steps. They haven't got a clue as to why this is happening. They are sending me a new lock.

My keypad fell off the wall. The tape quit holding the keypad.  I have two keypads, so I might as well change the other one also.  I looked on the SimpliSafe site and couldn't see a place to order the sticky tape.  Does anyone know what I can use?  I was just hoping I wo

For something as heavy as the keypad, I put one or two small screws into the keypad holder. That, along with double sided tape if you want but not necessary, ensures it'll never fall off.

How do you take pic of QR code with android phone in order to set up security camera?

If you have an Android phone, display the QR code then press and hold the power + volume down key at the same time. This will take a snapshot of the QR code.  You can then go into your photos to display it and enlarge it for the camera to see.

I have seen a few posts on this but no answers still. just got my system and trying to set up the camera. all it keeps saying is "ready to install follow instructions on app" the QR code is showing but the camera wont scan. ive tried restarting, deleting the app, unplugging the camera, everything. a
