We have 3 outdoor cameras all set to record any motion. Not one of them records longer than 20 seconds even though the motion is on going. My car was hit & the camera missed the entire event. What am I paying for??? A security system????? Not hardly.

Personally done trying to work with simplisafe. I’ve seen multiple posts and threads about this issue. I have great WiFi connection, the base station is near by AND I bought solar panels for all my cameras so they are always at full charge. Nothing f

Same thing happening to me and the connection is “good” and the base station is right inside the door. This is ridiculous.

I have 3 of the outdoor cameras and they constantly do the same thing. 17 seconds of recording. I bought them for security and feel less secure. My internet connection is excellent so I know it's not that. What's up with these cameras?
