Base Station
If you are having trouble connecting your system to Wi-Fi during a first-time setup, we recommend making sure that your home network is configured to meet our system requirements.A short list of requirements can be found below:Your Wi-Fi network must be broadcasting 2.4GHzSimpliSafe® cannot connect
Wi-Fi Troubleshooting
Use the Keypad, Mobile or Web App to change your Base Station's settings - including System Volume, Alarm Delays, and Wi-Fi set up.
Features / Settings
The Base Station is the brains and primary siren of your system. It communicates with all of your devices and sends us your alarm signals if you have activated alarm monitoring service.
Your Base Station is programmed to display a variety of colors based off the system status. Learn more about what those lights mean in this guide.
LED / Lights
You will likely never need to replace your Base Station's batteries as they are rechargeable and meant to last. However, if you need to replace your Base Station batteries for any reason, please call us to receive replacement batteries.
Battery / Power
The Base Station should be placed in a centrally-located area within your home or business, and in an open space. It is recommended that the Base Station is elevated at least 3 feet off the ground on a non-dense surface (ideally glass or wood).The following floorplan illustrates the recommended plac
