I would like to test my leak detectors with actual water.... how do I do this?

@amethistle very easy. Get a saucer of water after the water sensor is installed and place in the saucer. Depth of 1/4  inch is more than enough.  You should hear the base, get push/SMS message and a call from COPS monitoring. You really shoudl first put your system in test to avoid getting multiple calls from monitoring.

Also, another tip: test near where you are going to locate the sesnor to make sure there are no connection issues due to distance, metal etc.
