Smart Lock not responding

With my door lock on and system in Home Mode for over 8 hours, why is 

the brain announcing after I turn the alarm off, that the door lock is not responding. My computer is even saying at that time that the door is open, which it is not.

Hello @genepassafiume ,

It sounds like your Smart Lock is having trouble communicating with your Base Station. How far are the two components in relation to each other? And what other obstacles are between them? That can help us figure out what's going on.

But also, you'll want to make sure that your Smart Lock is updated to the latest firmware version, which can be initiated from the SimpliSafe app (though you will need to be near the Smart Lock during the process).

I figured out how to make it stop. Go into the app - Device Setting - On each door lock - Disable Auto - Lock if enabled. Home mode set to: Do Nothing. Away mode set to: Do Nothing. Off mode set to: Do Nothing. 

This way the system doesn't try to lock the door.

@Chagrin​ Are you also receiving an error message that your Smart Lock is not responding? If so, I would check to make sure that both your Base Station and Smart Lock are updated to the latest firmware. If they are, I would try resetting the Smart Lock. This Help Center article lists out the steps to take to perform a reset.
