Is the referral program still active?

Is the referral program still active?

The link in my account portal goes to https://simplisafe.com/share

which seems to be nothing.  The offer shown on the portal is 40% off, but does that mean if I refer they get a worse offer than sometimes is run on the main website?

I refer people every few months, so it would be nice to be recognized.

I just went around and around on the phone with Simplisafe about this. The only way to make it work was to go on the mobile app. Tap the three lines in the top left of the app and then scroll down to "Get $100". You can then share the offer with a friend. 30 days after they used your code, you will receive a link to redeem a $100 Visa gift card. 

Unfortunately, if there is another promotion going on, you cannot use the referral code. For example: Right now the Black Friday promotion is going on where you can get 60% off and a free indoor camera. At checkout for a new system, they automatically add the coupon code SIMPLIMON60CAM. The referral link I gave my friend is only 40% off and a free indoor camera.

Simplisafe will only allow one code. So either they get the 60% off and I dont get the $100 gift card for the referral, OR they get 40% off and I do get the $100 gift card. Simplisafe should definitely have a way to reward a referral as well as give the new customer the best deal.

It is but dont expect them to reward you the 100$, my friend used my code and I even have screenshots to prove it and Simplisafe did not want to give me the 100$ they just hit me with excuses, i will for sure not refer anyone anymore

But I also see that you were able to get in touch with our Support team and they were able to get you a different offer.
