Updated Ipad App -- Landscape Use / Netter Integration with Alexa and Google Home

I've had a system and love it. Used it for 3 years and recommend it to all new homeowners. But when will the Ipad app be updated to provide landscape view? Will there be camera support for Alexa and Google Nest?

Hi @JoeViddy,

There is an active request for landscape mode on the iPad in the Community, here. This request has been submitted to our dev team, and once we get any news, an update will be provided in that thread.

Regarding camera integration with smart displays like Alexa and Google Nest - right now, we are focused on developing a closed system to keep your data, especially video, private. At this time, smart display integration is not in development.

I just installed iPadOS 26 on my iPad and the SimpliSafe app (2300.49.1) now rotates its display following iPad orientation. First screenshot in landscape. Second screenshot in portrait.

@howardcunningham This has nothing to do with your post, but if I may, suggest that you don't update any Apple products to the first update release of their operating system, as you might get bitten by buggy software. Wait until a .1 release. Apple is pretty good, but we are all Beta testers for all company's products.
