Need Help reinstalling the system

Need Help reinstalling the system, I forgot how I did it the 1st time. I to take it down and now I need to reinstall it. Need a how to book.

Glad you stopped by! If you're looking for the Getting Started guide, you can find that here.

You can also install the SimpliSafe app on your Smartphone. Once you're logged in, you can navigate to Menu > Set Up A New System, and the app will take you through setup step by step.

And finally, you can give us a call at 800-548-9508. Our Support team can take you through the setup process, from the equipment to Monitoring Service, step by step!

I regret not having someone install my system. I put up two cameras and one door but just don’t feel confident enough that they are correct and need all of my door and windows set up. And may need to buy a couple other items. Likely a doorbell.

@Kimshay2​ First, please edit  your post and delete your name. This is a public forum and personal information shouldn't be posted for privacy reasons.  Next up, call support.  They can assist you with system design recommendations and installation, but do have professional installation available if you want that, via a 3rd party but there is a charge.

Regarding your system, you can put it in Test Mode to ensure that the Entry Sensor on your door is communicating with the Base Station correctly. See the Testing the Entry Sensor article for a step-by-step guide on putting your system into Test Mode. 

 

Regarding your cameras, it can help to move around in front of them to ensure that they are notifying you of motion. We also recommend viewing each camera's livestream to ensure that everything you would like to see is in frame.
