Not a big deal, but the ideal place for my yard sign has the sun behind it for the majority of the afternoon. Could not read the sign until I spray painted the back flat black.
FWIW, there is some debate whether putting up a sign discourages criminal activity or tips your hand to the bad guys/gals as to ways to potentially defeat the system. Personally, I've chosen the do not advertise approach.
So you provided super cheap plastic yard signs and when they need to be replaced for existing customers you charge for those and another $10 for shipping?
I agree...the yard signs are not only vital to advertising the use of the system but advertise for you too. The cheap sign broke in half during a recent storm now I'm looking at paying $20 for a new sign. I can't afford that so SimpliSafe loses free advertising and I lose the theft proof advantage. You should replace at no cost.
Its a shame that I'm using the aluminum sign from a company that I used to have 10 years ago cause the ChepoRus sign from SS disintegrated within 1-1/2 years of use.
I have always been in the camp of "generic signs", just a small gesture to make it not so easy for someone walking by the house knowing what system I do have. And yes, my old Brinks and ADT stickers are still up. My SS signs (2) one from my SS2 system and one from SS3, were given away years ago to neighbors who don't either have a system of any kind in one instance and and old Brinks system for the other.
Also, if anyone is interested, Consumer Reports rates SS either 1st for professionally monitored systems or 2nd for unmonitored. Where ever you do go, recommend that ADT is nowhere on your shopping list.

Seems like buying a replacement yard sign would be an easy task. It's not. Any suggestions?

The yard sign that came with my system was a cheap plastic that deteriorated
rapidly by the sun, how can I get a replacement?
