Simplisafe Career Center again hints at direction of the company

Google alerts, FCC filings and other internet resources and tools provide insights on the future of Simplisafe, short and long term. Whether these efforts are corrective, reformative or revolutionary, it does give customers the assurance SS is not standing still and not accepting the status quo.
Another great information source in the past has been Simplisafe's career center, and I usually invest some time reviewing it every month or so. Two positions definitely caught my eyes this morning, one for what it is and the other where it was located.
In the engineering area, a UX expert, based remotely out of New York city. This is interesting that up to now almost exclusively these highly technical "propeller head" positions (term used with the highest respect) have been based in Boston. Appears SS is spreading its net geographically, but also in the quantity and size of its investment in this area.
The 2nd area? How about a "Senior Problem Manger"? You can find it here:

This one position is exciting, unique and I would argue one of the most important roles in the company. As the organization grows from at home startup to international behemoth, keeping the customer front and center to everything you do gets more and more difficult. This position will be a driving force, with acquiring the right candidate, keeping Simplisafe miles ahead of its competitors, including Ring and ADT. Heck, if I wasn't retired, I would apply for the position myself!
Don't know who is responsible for this in SS senior mgt, but all I can say is "Great idea" and as Captain Picard says "Engage!"

They need to replace the person that came up with the SimpliSafe policy of requiring a subscription ($$$) JUST to interface to Amazon
