How to remove delay from Indoor camera recording. Camera should begin recording as soon as motion is detected. Recording doesn't start for 30 seconds. how to change that

Hi @snwshoe, 

Your question sounded a little different from the original thread, so I broke it off into its own post. If your camera has a delay before recording, I would try troubleshooting the Wi-Fi network it's connected to.

First, is your camera connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Base Station? If it is connected to a different one, I would recommend moving them to the same network.

If both your camera and Base Station are on the same network, I would also run a connection check in the SimpliSafe mobile app. A connection check will tell you how strong your camera's Wi-Fi connection is, and provide ways to improve it. We list out the steps on how you can run a connection check, and what your results mean, in this Help Center article.
