Downloading and Saving Camera Videos
Is there a way I can view my stored camera recordings and then download them to archive in my own cloud storage? I have the monitoring service and a full SS System currently with two Doorbell Cams & one interior camera. I will be adding 4 additional cameras to my system. I want to be able to archive some of the footage since it is only supposed to be available on the SS site for 30 days. I'm assuming they purge the older content to keep their server farm from getting overloaded.

Agree. I need to keep video for 90 days. Downloading in bulk would help. Or as a video stops, automatically allow download to email, URL, or endpoint.

I just found out after going to my account to download important recordings after storm damage about 1.5 months prior that my storage is now limited to 30days. WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a huge problem for me since I needed few important days recorded. Why was I not informed via mail? AND I DO NT WANT TO HEAR I WAS SENT EMAIL. HOW COULD SOME EXECUTIVE DECIDE THAT SOMETHING THIS IMPORTANT BE SENT VIA EMAIL WHEN CRIME IS HIGHER THAN EVER AND STORMS GOING ON ALL OVER THE WORLD? That is the cheap way out for company this large. SimpliSafe understands no one studies their inbox anymore. Maybe 30 years ago.. Now I have no way to show some very important highlights of the damage to my home because I missed a email!!!
