Partner cannot log in

Hello @admin
My partner and I have been setting up our system today and while I’ve had no issues, he is unable to login to the app. There’s an error message that reads “action blocked. This action is not allowed by your organization” he has a pixel 7 pro and has problems with our Alexa too. 
Does anyone have any thoughts? He’s already deleted and redownloaded the app. It won’t let him sign in or make a new account.

@scwheeler02 first, welcome to the community and hope you enjoy your new system. Recommendation: Pick up the phone and call support. The admins normally do not cover the forums here on weekends and holidays and, while they are good, support is there every day of the year. They are quite good and should address your issue(s). I should note I have a Pixel 8 and the app works fine. At this time there can only be one log in per account, so if you already set up yours, he must log in as you. My wife and I have been only been using one log in for years and works fine on both of your phones (She has a Pixel 8 also, and our former Pixel 6a's and our Pixel 4a's worked fine too). Please be advised SS is actively workingon mutlipe user logins for one account that should be release in the near future.

Hi @scwheeler02 ,

Perhaps the secure channel that the app uses to log in has been blocked on your partner's phone. Is he using a work phone that is being managed by his work's IT department? And/or does have have a VPN or firewall installed?

I guess the problem comes when you try and log in as as secondary user but the confirmation code is sent to the primary user’s Message app. Would work when you’re together but not if in different locations?

@richardhoney​ SMS and emails can go to multiple destinations. My wife and I have effectively used my account together  for many years with no issues.

@richardhoney​ Do you have Multi-Factor Authentication enabled? By turning this security feature on, you can register multiple phone numbers to your SimpliSafe account. This way, the security code will go straight to the device of the person who is trying to log in.
