Mobile app won't stay logged in

iPhone 11, iOS 16.4.1, SimpliSafe app will no longer stayed logged in - forces me to log in each and every time I try to use it. Unacceptable since I cannot access my doorbell cam or back house cam when I get an alert without going through lengthy process of logging in. How do I fix this?

I too have an iPhone 11 and had the identical problem.   I called them after reinstalling app and allowing cookies.  I was unable to even log in.  "Nigel" filed a report (after we repeated the same steps).  He said the engineers will fix it and it should work by tomorrow night.

Thanks for reporting. If you're still having the same trouble today, could you let me know what version of the SimpliSafe app you're currently on? 

And @AlMc , as cship117 says, do you happen to have cookies disabled on your default browser?

@davey_d​  I do not know how to find out the SS app version on my iPhone 11. Looked under settings - not there.  Looked around the app after logging in - cannot find it there.  

My "block all cookies" switch under Settings/Safari/ has always been turned off.

Hi @AlMc​, 

If you look up SimpliSafe in your App Store, it will tell you which version you are running.

@AlMc​ thank you for confirming this! You are on the latest app version, which should be the solution. I would suggest that you enable Multi-Factor Authentication if you haven't already. When enabled, the app should keep you logged in.
