Issues linking with Google Home

I am trying to pair my Gen 3 Simplisafe with Google Home. Whenever I do I get the message that "Sorry, no compatible Simplisafe systems are on your account". We do not pay for any monitoring plans.

Has anyone else had a similar issue?

You might have answered the question yourself, there. Integration with Google Home is a feature of Interactive Monitoring. For more info, check out the Help Center article here.

Google Home integration is partial even with the subscription plan; only assistant supports it, there are no controls or cameras in the Google Home app.

Just set up my system today and am having the same issue. The integration with Google was the main reason I purchased this system. Why is SimpliSsfe not responding to this?!?

In case the site is not displaying our last reply correctly. Do either of you happen to be subscribed to the $27.99 Interactive Monitoring Plan?

Smart Home Integration, with both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, is a feature of that Monitoring Plan only.

The SimpliSafe integration section states my Google assistant is connected but in google home it shows SimpliSafe is off line.  It connects via my SimpliSafe app and the SimpliSafe website so what can I do?  I don’t want to remove in case I can’t get to connected again.

@njhohn​ I know that removing SimpliSafe from Google Home and adding it back has helped for users in the past, but if you do not want to try that I would recommend checking the Google Home app to see if it needs to be updated or not. I would also try resetting the Base Station, you can do this by taking the following steps:

  1. Unplug the power cord from the Base Station, and use a Phillips Head screwdriver to remove the screw below the plug
  2. Remove the bottom cover and remove one battery from the Base Station
  3. Wait 30 seconds
  4. Reassemble the Base Station by inserting the battery, cover, and the power cord
  5. When powered up after the reset, the Base Station will say "Welcome to SimpliSafe"
