iPad App Login

Hi, I wanted to be able to use my iPad to stream my doorbell at times for me to see who is there without having to pull out my phone but when I log in it logs my wife out of her phone app. Why is this?

Why can’t we have more than two people logging in? SimpliSafe needs to be a little more device friendly and allow management of accounts.

Logging into your account using the SimpliSafe mobile app on your iPad should not result in your wife getting logged out on her phone. When you log into the app, are you being asked to confirm the login through an email link or a code sent to you via text?

Logging in through a code sent by text is called Multi-Factor Authentication. If you use this system to log in on your device, you should stay logged in indefinitely as long as the app is launched regularly. If you do not use Multi-Factor Authentication when logging in, I would recommend setting it up so both you and your wife remain logged in on your phones. It does send me a text using multi-factor authentication, but it still logs itself or my wife out not long after signing in. It is an older iPad do you think that may have something to do with it?
