Incorrect Time Stamp in Alerts and Notifications

My Text and Email Alerts, Push Notifications and the Online Timeline have a Time Stamp for Eastern time.

However, I am in Central time.

The iPhone App Timeline has the correct time as does the both the the Online and iPhone Dashboard main page.

Where do I Set the Time Zone in the Control Panel?

Update: I called SimpliSafe Sat 27-Jan-2018 at 10:45 AM Central (15 minute hold - not bad at all) and Keith set the Time Zone for me - apparently there is no place in the new Control Panel to set the Time Zone - Go Figure

@SimpliSafe - are there any plans to add the ability to the new Console for setting the time zone?

Hi all,

On the webapp, your Timezone is set under the Monitoring tab on your online account. The SimpliSafe app, and Push Notifications, will be using the timezone set from your phone's operating system.

@dave_2036

For both the SimpliSafe Original and the New SimpliSafe, you can change the time zone on your online account!

Under the Monitoring tab on your online account, you will see a section titled  "Service Location & Account Details". Click the edit button for this section and you will find the option to edit your time zone! And of course, this is something that we can change over the phone if you need it!

Thanks Lee but that does not exist in the new Control Panel: https://webapp.simplisafe.com/#/monitoring

It's not in my new control panel either.   I don't yet have SS3, just the new control panel, so maybe it is there after activation?

Dave, I'm assuming your SS3 has been activated?

So, I guess we all get to call if we want correct time-zones/time stamps, lol.

If they get enough calls maybe they'll add the time zone option the new Control Panel for each location.

Yup........ got to call Customer Service and have them set your time zone..........  only takes a minute (once you get them on the phone).

Hopefully, they will correct in future Dashboard update...

Log in using this link https://simplisafe.com/my-account/login

You can then edit details under "service information" including the time zone where the system is installed.

Don't have a clue why there are two different ways to log in?

Logging in from that page (which is the one I use) takes me to https://webapp.simplisafe.com/#/dashboard

Well, that's what I use on both my Samsung android phone and tablet which gets me to the screen with far more edit options. How bout' if you use just "simplisafe.com" and log in under the user icon? Not tech savvy enough to know why there 2 ways to log in to 2 different screens with different options. For 4 years I have only used the one screen. One thing I did notice is when you are logged in to that "web" screen there is a tab at the bottom of dashboard that you can select to take you to the "original" screen which the one I prefer to use.

That link on the bottom is just a loop-back to the same page you were on.  It's useless.

On yours maybe.....not on my devices. "Back to original app" opens a new window with the original screen. Didn't even know that "webapp" screen existed before today.
