How Does 24/7 Live Guard Protection Work During An Alarm Event?
For alarms where 24/7 live guard protection is enabled*, our monitoring agents can view the live stream from your Smart Alarm Wireless Indoor Security Camera.
If our agents see someone in the home, they will activate the 2-way audio on the camera and attempt to speak to that person. When doing so, the agent may ask for the safeword or ask that the person leave the premises. If the individual is asked to leave, the agent will request a priority dispatch and inform the intruder that the police are on the way.
If the safeword is provided to the monitoring agent during an alarm, the alarm will be canceled and dispatch will not occur. If an incorrect safeword is provided, the agent will immediately request police dispatch. Primary contacts will be contacted if no safeword is provided and the person seen in the camera claims to be an authorized guest (e.g. a house-sitter).
