Smart Lock Firmware 1.5 (April 2023)

Hi folks,

The latest firmware for the Smart Lock is rolling out now. We don’t get Smart Lock updates very often, and we strongly encourage you to update when you get the chance.

One important thing to call out is that Smart Lock firmware is updated through the SimpliSafe app on your phone or other device. If the update is available for you, you’ll be able to get started through the card on the Overview page.

Also the process will require Bluetooth, so please make sure that it’s switched on in your device’s settings, and that you keep your device close to the Smart Lock for the duration of the update process. For more info, visit the Help Center here.
