Unable to update simplysafe

I am trying to to update my smartlock but it's showing as error when it tries to connect to my Bluetooth. I chatted with someone and after a very long time he told me he updated it for me and to disregard the update alert. I asked if I could get help in fixing the issue with connecting to my Bluetooth and I got the same answer.

So far I am very very very disappointed with simplysafe. Sometimes my cameras won't open and when they do it is slow. I invested a lot of money in securing my house with this system switching from blink and so far it has been nothing but disappointing.

@Emanuelpellot I don't know how an agent could remotely update your lock when it is done with a BT connection with your phone.  Try following the instructions on the link below. If it fails, try taking out all of the batteries for 3 minutes, then put them back in and try again.

Please post your outcome here if you get a chance.

@captain11 that's exactly what I said. I have tried all of those. When I tried connecting to the Bluetooth it gives me an error.

Hi @Emanuelpellot,

What is the exact error message you run into when the Smart Lock tries to connect to Bluetooth? If you could please share a screenshot of the error message, that can help us narrow down what's happening.

And regarding your cameras, if you're experiencing a slow time to livestream, it can help to move the Base Station a bit closer to the cameras to help improve their connection. I would also use our in-app Connection Check tool to troubleshoot the cameras' connection to your Wi-Fi network. If you check out the How to Troubleshoot Your Camera's Connection article in our Help Center, it will take you through the steps of using the Connection Check tool and provides more detail on what your results mean.
