How to get a referral code? "refer a friend" blank when starting from the web

From the web account portal there's a link

"refer a friend"

That goes to
https://simplisafe.com/share

But that page is blank for me.  How can I get a referral code?

Hi @brycen, 

Which web browser did you try opening this page on and have you tried using a different one? I would recommend testing another browser to see if you can open the page there. If you let me know which browser(s) you used, I can bring this to our internal teams.

You can also get your referral code using the SimpliSafe mobile app by navigating to The three-bar icon on the top left corner > Get $200. From there you'll be able to choose to share your referral code via email, link, or SMS.

Desktop and Mobile Browsers Tried with the exact same results:

  • Mac OS Safari
  • Mac OS Chrome
  • Windows Firefox
  • Android Firefox
  • Android Chrome
  • Windows Edge (old)
  • Windows Edge (new)
  • Windows Explorer (the old one)
  • Linux KDE

What amazes me is that you'd blame the customer's browser rather than trying it yourself.  Really.  It may work on the app, it does NOT work from the web browser account page or from email links, nor from customer support's form letters.

@brycen​ I was able to load this webpage, so I was curious about which web browsers you used so I could test them myself as well. I reached out to our internal teams regarding this, and they have not seen any outages or errors with this page.

I would recommend clearing your web browsers' cookies as a next step.
