CO Out of Stock?

I have been looking for the last 3 months for the SS3 carbon monoxide detector. The website has had it listed as out of stock since I went to SimpliSafe. Are they going to ever have them in stock?

Sorry for the inconvenience! We have been having supply issues particularly with the Carbon Monoxide Detector over the past few months, but yes we'll have them back in stock soon. I would suggest giving our Sales team a call at 800-548-9508 and they can help you out.

Same problem. It would be nice if there was a way to be notified when they are back in stock.

What is your "Sales" team going to do -- they just say "it's back ordered, sorry... fingers crossed!" Give me a break. Every other mfg has CO detectors available. Supply chain is a poor excuse or failure to execute.

As your aware, homeowner policies commonly require CO as part of the monitored service. With SS providing no options, you're leaving your customers with no option but to switch.

Also... This has been for the past 1 year -- it's not a recent issue. Sort it out and let's hear from your leadership what the real problem is.

@rentub you're right that we have been having supply issues for a while, though we did have the Carbon Monoxide Detector available again on the site at multiple points earlier this year.

Right now, we do have a limited stock available. That's why we advise giving our Sales team a call.

If Simplisafe could notify us when the CO detectors come in, it would be greatly appreciated. We would prefer to go with Simplisafe's CO detector than a store bought detector.

@mblaszk your best bet would be to reach out to our Support team. We sometimes have a limited supply available!
