Proactively Email Monitoring Invoices

For business accounts, could you please make the system email the monthly invoices to the account holder?

I would pay you a dollar extra so I didn't have to log into the portal every month and get the receipt manually.

It's been almost a year since my first request. I check this message every month when I have to manually generate a PDF for a $30 invoice. Any update SimpliSafe?

@jpr9wx​ this request has been submitted to our dev team, but at this time we do not have any updates. If/when this request is in development, we will provide an update in this thread.

For the love of all things Holy, please bump the dev team on the request to have invoices automatically sent!!!

My finance department is off-site and they seem to have the magical ability to sense when this bill is paid. I'm called 17 seconds after my card is charged each month. Their coffee-laden breath coming through the speaker of my cell phone demanding that I forward the invoice that I have neglected to send them. "How do we know it's not fraud if you don't send the invoice!", they shriek as they wave their nicotine-stained finger at me from a dimly lit cubicle somewhere.

Logical explanations of it being a reoccurring bill from Simplisafe for the same amount every month just bounce off their thick, smudged glasses. "Every vendor has the ability to send these invoices when they're generated!" I'm scolded and reprimanded for 5 minutes each month. This rehashes childhood traumas and my therapist knows what the first 20 minutes of our session is going to be when I see him at the end of the month.

...but really, this is basic feature that is missing. The people, and my therapist, have spoken!

Any updates on this? Sounds like it's been in development for over 5 months now.
I talked with support on the phone and they were not aware this wasn't a feature at all. When I asked for them to submit a feature request for this they vehemently told me that was impossible and they would not take any feedback of the sort, so not sure if this is ever coming. Incredibly frustrating experience.

@johnb6b1866​ We have submitted this feature request to our devs for their consideration, but it is not currently in development. If anything changes and they begin to develop this feature, we will provide an update in this thread.

Automatically emailing invoices should be an account option.  This should not need to be an improvement request.  Customers pay you money; you offer to email an invoice.  Pretty basic business practice.

We have just put 83 of our locations on the SimpliSafe system and it is an absolute nightmare to get a copy of the receipt for the monthly monitoring. As a matter of fact, I cannot even see them in the portal. When I go to "monitoring payments" all I see is a question mark next to the words "Monitoring Payments." I have to call Simplisafe and they have to send me a list of the payments made. It is an absolute nightmare. When we first started putting these systems in, I did see a list of payments and that has just disappeared and been replaced with the question mark. I have 50 more locations I want to put on this system but until we can get something as simple as getting a copy of an invoice, I am hesitant to give them any more of our business. I am trying to do my expense report (all the payments get charged to my company credit card) and it should not take hours to chat with Simplisafe and wait for them to email me the list each month.

Please add this feature as requested, asap.  In 2024 this should not be a difficult or unusual feature requiring much "development team" effort.  It should be obvious to you by now that this is a needed feature and your not having it (as opposed to every other company on the planet) is dissatisfying your customers and costing you real business.

Seems a basic request. Seems to be in Simplisafe's self-interest. Your response should be "Done" in a NY minute.

And, please, spare Emily the embarrassment of parroting the good old "We have submitted this feature request...."
