Additional Modes - Ex. Backyard
I understand the system is designed with HOME / AWAY / OFF modes, but thats not enough for some of us. Example:
- Home turns on all the door & window sensors, and we use it at night when we are sleeping.
- Away turn on all the sensors (Motion for example).
I want to spend time in the backyard, and have a multi story house and so would like to be able to create a "custom" backyard mode, where I can set all the sensors on (like home) but turn the backyard entry and possibly even the outdoor camera off (because it detects motion every 30 seconds I get a recording of me out there).
Its a pain to either keep the alarm OFF, but then I dont know whats happening at my other entry points that I have no view to, or I have to go in and turn motion detection off on the camera.
Seems like a simple feature to add (not to the pin pad, but just the phone) and would be amazing.

Thanks for your suggestion. Were you already aware of the Snooze Notifications feature of the SimpliSafe app? It allows you to dismiss notifications for 30 or 60 minutes, so you won't be bombarded with alerts while enjoying your backyard. It would help with at least the camera piece.
