Providing Alarm Permit information

​I don't see where I can provide SimpliSafe with information about our alarm permit.  Does SimpliSafe need that information?  If so, how do I provide it?​

Hi @russel2loski ,

Different municipalities will have different rules. But we provide info based on your Protected Location right in your SimpliSafe account.

  1. Navigate to Menu > Monitoring.
  2. Alarm Permit Requirements can be found on the lower right of this page.

Some locations will require that we keep your Permit Number on file - so that when our Operators need to call on your behalf, we can relay that number to your local authorities. If you have your Permit Number already, give our Support team a call at 800-548-9508 and we can update your profile. Or you can email our dedicated team at permits@simplisafe.com!
