Providing Alarm Permit information

I don't see where I can provide SimpliSafe with information about our alarm permit.  Does SimpliSafe need that information?  If so, how do I provide it?

Hi @russel2loski ,

Different municipalities will have different rules. But we provide info based on your Protected Location right in your SimpliSafe account.

  1. Navigate to Menu > Monitoring.
  2. Alarm Permit Requirements can be found on the lower right of this page.

Some locations will require that we keep your Permit Number on file - so that when our Operators need to call on your behalf, we can relay that number to your local authorities. If you have your Permit Number already, give our Support team a call at 800-548-9508 and we can update your profile. Or you can email our dedicated team at permits@simplisafe.com!

@reneemkelly​ You can find the address in your SimpliSafe account by taking the following steps:

  1. Log into your SimpliSafe account using the web app
  2. On the left side of the screen, click on "Monitoring" 
  3. Alarm Permit Requirements will be on the bottom right side of the screen, where you will find the address
