Simplisafe without subscription in Australia
Considering purchasing SimpliSafe but I don't want to be bound to a monthly subscription. Wondering what functionality I will get in Australia without the subscription? Will I still be able to view cam footage, alerts etc on the app?

Hi @jameschapman9566 ,
We officially cannot support systems outside of our two markets - the US and the UK.
The SimpliSafe app is not available in the Australian App stores, and even if you downloaded while in the US, you wouldn't be able to log in, since our multi-factor authentication can go out to US and UK phone numbers only.
Similar thing goes for ordering equipment - you can purchase in the US and UK, but we wouldn't be able able to send replacements to Australia if anything goes wrong.
You'd be able to install the alarm system and sensors, since they can function locally. But all of the app and service functions (including camera connectivity) may become unavailable at some point.
