Wireless interference detected
Hi, I just upgraded to a Gen 3 system and the base station is giving me "Wireless interference detected" messages.
I've isolated the interference to some IR relay cubes that relay IR signals from my cable remote to my living room by converting the IR signal to RF and then rebroadcasts as IR.
The bottom line is that every time use my TV remote in the bedroom the base station announced "Wireless interference detected". Is is quite annoying.
Is there any way to suppress these messages ??
Thanks.

The alarm system does communicate by local radio by a lower frequency, so yes, it makes sense that your relay system might interfere with it. Is it possible for you to change the frequency it broadcasts at, or at least switch the channel?
Our Support team over the phone at 800-548-9508 can also change the detection threshold for Wireless Interference. But of course that would decrease the system's ability to detect a jamming attack, so we want to leave that as a last resort.

I'll check the relay cubes, but I doubt they are sophisticated enough to allow changing channels or frequency.
If not I'll call the number you provided on Monday.
Thanks
