Wifi keeps dropping and connecting after router upgrade

I recently upgraded my router to a Netgear Nighthawk AX8. No issues connecting Simplisafe to WIFI, but I keep getting SMS alerts that it has "lost connection to the wifi", then seconds later, it has reconnected. over the course of 8 hours this occurred over 500 times. Any ideas?

I just changed over to an AX1800, and I cannot get the Simplisafe to  connect to the router period. I am curious are you using the Smart Connect feature?
I am and will be dissabling it later to determine if that is what stoppping me from connecting. If it is, the Simplisage devices are the only devices which are having an issue.
Anyway I will post back and let you know what I find out.

No luck here, removed all of the new features and stil will not connect.

Have you tried a simplified password?

Some of the passwords generated out of the new/newer routers are ungodly long and complex. At least, as I recall anyway, in the past some SS devices struggled with password length and or certain characters. Maybe they still do.

Hi @ewoldtma,

Are you getting any error messages when your equipment fails to connect to your new router? Also, are you having problems getting a SimpliSafe Base Station connected, or is it a camera that won't connect?
