Wifi extender

@bluepigs my experience with extenders: don't use them.  Improve coverage marginally and a PIA.  Put your money towards a good mesh router and put in sufficient number of points and you will be much better off. Note, when on sale, Costco or Sams Club are excellent places to get them. CNET does a nice job or reviewing them all. I have the original Google WIFI with router and 2 points and it covers my entire house (two story 2600 sq foot colonial), and property, very well. 3 Simplicams, doorbell and over 40 sensors including basement and garage don't miss a tick.

To close, I used Western Digital, TP and Dlink extenders and returned them all.
