Hi @kwanin,
SimpliSafe requires a 2.4GHz network connection in order to operate. In most instances, the system will operate seamlessly on the network without having to do any additional configurations to your router settings. The devices you set up with your SimpliSafe system do require bandwidth on the network, and generally share that bandwidth with other devices on your network. I'd recommend taking a look over this page to understand the upload and download speeds needed to run cameras, as that will help serve as a baseline for what speeds your Internet package should provide.
