using 30 second timer and instant trigger

I'm trying to figure out whether I should use instant trigger on a certain motion sensor..

Let's say I trip an entry sensor with a 30 second delay and during that delay I trip a motion sensor that is set for instant trigger, will the alarm immediately sound when the motion sensor is tripped?

I'd prefer not to set the alarm off to find out..Thanks!

The delay overrides the instant trigger, if the delay is started first.  Where there is a problem is if they are triggered "at the same time" and the instant is recognized first.

I have a motion sensor in the room with the keypad.  When the system is armed and I enter, I trigger the delay by opening the entry door which is not in view of the motion sensor.  When I walk into the room with the keypad, the motion sensor does not set the alarm off because as seven says, the delay overrides the motion. The motion sensor does work, I test it every other month as-recommended by Captain11. :-)

Or, simply put, whatever is triggered first takes precedence.
