Use of smart electrical outlet to reset Base Station?
I have read posts where some glitch occurs in Simplisafe and a manual action is required, such as resetting the Base Station. I am away from the monitored home for months at a time so I have to rely solely on my phone to manage the system and obviously I cant take any manual actions when I'm not there. Has anyone used a smart electrical outlet to cycle the power on the Base Station using your phone? Please comment.

Hi @er9299,
As Dlpsr stated, at least one battery needs to be removed when resetting the Base Station. Due to that, using a smart outlet will not work if the Base Station ever requires a reset.
