Timer functionality
It would be amazing if the entry sensor, when in secrete alert mode, could have timer functionality. Like, alert when door/window left open for 5 min or 20 min, or whatever. My kids, and spouse, often leave doors/windows open and it would be great to know...more to keep weather out then people. I would think Simplisafe could build that software. I dont think it exists currently, please let me know if it does. Thanks.

This is a great suggestion, and I'd be happy to share it with our development team. I can certainly understand wanting to keep an eye on those doors and windows, especially as winter weather is approaching.

To this I'd add that it would be great if you offered a digital plug-in timer which could be controlled remotely via smart phone if/when needed. For example to preset and remotely change at any time, when lights go on and off. Same for a radio, TV etc in order to make it look and even sound like someone's really home and moving around. Could also be used to control other stuff like exterior lights, sprinklers, even our continuous hot water circulating pump, which all share one thing -being plugged into power outlets.
