System bug report

When the base station loses Wifi connectivity like when the router is rebooted, messages about the connection status are received by text. When the system is armed after that, the base gives a warning saying entry sensor open, that is not the case. All sensors are labeled and it does not refer by name as it does will a low battery warning. No sensors are open and all batteries are in good shape. This error will persist every time the system is armed until the configuration is reloaded via app, web or keypad.

Hi @bill_f427de ,

Thanks for reporting. I'll forward to our dev team. Could you let me know what version your Base Station's firmware is currently on? You can check by going to the Keypad and navigating to Menu > System Settings > Diagnostics.

The Current Version is 2.8. If you haven't already, I would suggest updating. I don't recall the issue you describe among those resolved recently, but installing new firmware might help anyway.

@davey_d Version is 2.8.2 The problem predated this update. When I updated firmware and keypad software the warning went away until the next router reboot and loss of wifi during. I then accessed the system online and refreshed the settings and the problem went away. Until the next router reboot when I had to reload the settings again. But at least I discovered that refreshing the settings stopped the warning.
