Switching to Vodafone to Verizon

So i go last night to order 10 more sensors and another simplicam and a aux siren and the wonderful woman was awesome and said she is sending to me the new Verizon chip because they are doing away with Vodafone. I said im glad i called then lol so is it very hard to swith out the board inside? I have seen on YouTube how to do it with the old system but none for the ss3. Im sure its easy and i know i have to call them to get it activated when done.

@Lance843 it is very easy. I am all thumbs and I had no issues. My son in law is even more inept and had no issues swapping his out.

Lance843 changed my SS3 card out last week. Was supposed to come with instructions but did not. Was simple as Captain stated. Unplug power, remove batteries then twist tower cover off. Remove one screw, unplug and remove card. New card has two different plug receptacles (mine did any way) only one matches plug. Insert card, replace screw and plug into circuit board. Replace tower  cover, batteries, plug in. I did not have to call to activate card was told by a rep that that was not necessary. With WiFi disconnected test signal was sent to SS and call within 5 seconds from SS to confirm. If you were told to call to activate by all means do.

Thanks guys much appreciated, i was not aware of any of this changing out cards until i went to order more sensors and if i didn't i wonder if they would have called me but im still waiting for all the sensors and cell card and she did say call so i will most likely do so just to make sure. Thanks again.
