Setting up Base

I finally got my system and my I started the process to set it up… I follow the steps to connect the base and it stays on “finalizing” forever. I have tried at least 10 times. And have reset the base by following the directions to remove the batteries. What else can I do?

Hi ashleyaheaden,

 

Sorry about the hiccup. It sounds like you're getting stuck on then step where the app tries to connect to your Base Station directly, through bluetooth. If that fails, the app should be steering you through continuing the process through the Keypad.

 

But looking through your account, I see you might have already been in touch with our Support team to get activation set up that way instead! So the rest of the process should be smoother from there.

@davey_d​ yes thank you. I did have one other question. My insurance asked for an alarm Certificate advising the monitoring systems, where can I get that?

No problem! You can find that right on your online account here.

In the Menu, navigate to Monitoring section, and the download button for the Monitoring Certificate should be on the top right.

The Monitoring Certificate will download as a PDF file, which you can email directly to your agent, or print out. We strongly suggest that you double-check that all the info on the certificate is correct, especially the checkboxes that denote categories you're protected for. If there are errors, we can help with that too!

When I try and go on the website it forces me to reenter my information and reactivate… my app says it’s all set?!

I also gave the information to the person I spoke with? It’s concerning it’s not recorded?

And now it won’t activate my base from the website. This is very frustrating
