No power at base station but it’s plugged in
My base station all of a sudden starting flashing red tonight and I was notified to plug it in as there is a power outage and it’s on battery power. I don’t have a power outage…….I have tried plugging it into multiple outlets and home and it still says power outage. Any ideas?

@captain11 is spot-on. Try the Base Station Reset (what he's describing) and see how that goes. Here's a video that takes you through the steps:
I would also say, try plugging the power adapter in without the batteries. That might tell us more about where the issue is - maybe with the batteries, maybe with the power adapter. Either way, our Support team at 800-548-9508 can replace any piece (or the whole unit) under warranty.

@skufahl suggest a hard boot. Open the base, take out the batteries (unit unplugged of course) wait 2 minutes, put batteries back in and plug back in. If that doesn't work, call SS for a replacement.

Finally going on vacation for 11 days and the base station shows power outage when there is none. Have tried all the trouble shooting suggestions...................nothing works........................GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had an issue yesterday with the base station. It suddenly started beeping, while no power or internet was out. Everything was functional. I checked the mobile app and it showed a firmware update, which I tried, but since the base station was not working, the firmware could not be updated. Then, I reset the station by following the instructions like removing the base cap, removing one of the batteries, waiting for 60+ seconds etc. However, after that, the base station stopped working. I reinstalled the batteries in the same position as earlier and powered it up. Waited for the entire night, but the station is not powering up again. What's the issue? Can someone help?
