No power at base station but it’s plugged in

My base station all of a sudden starting flashing red tonight and I was notified to plug it in as there is a power outage and it’s on battery power.    I don’t have a power outage…….I have tried plugging it into multiple outlets and home and it still says power outage.    Any ideas?

@captain11 is spot-on. Try the Base Station Reset (what he's describing) and see how that goes. Here's a video that takes you through the steps:

I would also say, try plugging the power adapter in without the batteries. That might tell us more about where the issue is - maybe with the batteries, maybe with the power adapter. Either way, our Support team at 800-548-9508 can replace any piece (or the whole unit) under warranty.

@skufahl  suggest a hard boot. Open the base, take out the batteries (unit unplugged of course) wait 2 minutes, put batteries back in and plug back in. If that doesn't work, call SS for a replacement.

@jtvandjfv To resolve this error, you can take the following steps:

  1. Unplug the Base Station's power cord from the wall outlet
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds
  3. After 60 seconds, a "Power Restored" message will appear in your timeline and the message should be removed from the app
