No pin required on keypad to disarm system
Just installed my system- no pin is required to be entered on the keypad to disarm the system at any time - this is very insecure!
We arm the system to Home at night and then next morning can just press Off to disarm. Neither require the pin to be entered. This can’t be right.

Hi @scottpadgham,
If you disarm using the SimpliSafe App on your smart phone, or if you use the Key Fob, you don't need to enter a PIN to disarm.
However, if you use the Keypad, you do need to enter a PIN. It should not be possible to disarm from Home Mode or Away Mode on your Keypad without a PIN.
But one more thing to keep in mind: Disarming only applies if the system is already fully armed.
If your system is still counting down before being armed, you can cancel that countdown by pressing Off.

On my keypad, the pin is only required if I’m changing a system setting it is not required to arm or disarm the system but should be
