New system for new location, can I set it up with the APP without starting the monitoring (yet)?

I have been using Simplisafe at my house for almost a year.
I have just received a second new system with base station, keypads, sensors, etc,  for a new home (I am not moving the current system, just installing a new one at the new house).
I am not moving to the new house yet, so  I don't want to start the free month monitoring offered with subscription yet, I will probably do it in two or three weeks.
However  I would like to install and test the new systems and sensors. I have purchased many sensors, so for doing that I would like to use the APP (or the WEB page) since it is quicker and easier.
Can I add the new base station to my APP, without starting the monitoring system?
Unfortunately I do not recall if the monitoring starts as soon as you add the new base station to the APP, or if there is a second step involved with the process (and that I can do later).

@ cldslv I suggest you call SS tomorrow, cancel your existing system at your old house and then go on your way. When you are in the new house and ready to go, call and activate the new monitoring. Monitoring starts when you sign up for it. If you already did, call and explain what you did and what you want to happen.
