New system and 4G cellular module plus Verizon connectivity

I have the original system and decided to upgrade to the newer one. I know that I needed to get the new 4G module for the old system and have one coming.

Will the new system have the 4G module already installed ??

The original system's base station had issues staying connected so I got the Verizon board sent to me. Will I have to go the same route with the new system or has the connectivity issue been resolved?
