Naming Devices???

@LargeDoggie why don't you just go to your dashboard on the website, click on the name and hit backspace and enter whatever name you want; should work fine there. BTW, the keypad should work fine too, don't forget to hit save for either method.

Yes, as Captain11 says, there is an alternate route.

For anyone else facing this issue, two tips from hours of trial and error:

1) At the top of the "Devices" page is a banner that has your e-mail and address. In the bottom far right of this banner is a blue box that says "add or name device". Ignore this. It doesn't work as detailed above in "Naming Devices Part II".

2) But, as Captain11 says, there is another option. Click in the "Name" field under "Intrusion Sensors", change the name as you like (be aware there is a character limit), then make sure you click "Save" in the bottom right pop-up.

And to get names transferred to the WEB from your keypad, it is possible but you have to hit the circular dual arrow button to the right of "Devices" to manually refresh. It doesn't update automatically nor with web restarts nor with computer restarts. But it works!
