keypad not working

My keypad stops working every couple days.  I have to take out the batteries, wait 3 minutes, then reinstall them, however the issue still happens every couple days.  Called customer service and they want me to call back when it stops working again which is kind of ridiculous.  Anyone have a permanent solution to this?

@ paliotta actually, wanting you call back when its not working is a very good idea, so they can troubhleshoot to see why it keeps disconnecting.  Sorry, don't have a solution as don't know the conditions for it to drop.  If you do have two keypads, you can try swapping them. if the same condition repeats, then it's probably a location issue and not a hardware issue. Please post your outcome here if you get a chance.
