Keypad Dead in less than a month

I noticed yesterday that my Wireless Keypad is dead. I received the system March 6. It is April 3rd today.

I tried changing the batteries. 4 new AA batteries. Still dead. Emailed them yesterday. No response as of this evening.

Is this what I should expect from Simplisafe?

I called support and spoke to Brian. He was very helpful and is sending out a replacement.
