Is it normal for the keyfob battery to die after 3 or 4 months?
I've had the system for almost one year now, and am on my 3rd keyfob. Is this normal? I wish there was a way to just replace the battery yourself.

I find that keyfobs in my pocket get activated, with undesirable results. So I wear a vest with the keyfob in a pocket by itself and against my chest so it is unlikely to be activated, or on a lanyard around my neck. Seems to solve all issues, including losing it or getting it stolen.

Something is wrong. I could see if one Key Fob had such a short battery life but not two. I have had my SS3 Fobs since 2018, and all three are still working (and I use them daily). However, they should have a 5-10 year battery life. It is very odd and frankly unacceptable - especially since the battery is no longer user-replaceable.

Thanks everyone. It didn't occur to me but I'll chalk this one up to "What happens when there is too much junk in my pockets for $1000"..
