Installing a replacement Control

I had problems with random beeps from my Control device.   That's unsettling at 3 am.     SimpliSafe sent me a new one, a replacement.   But there were no instructions on how to remove the old one and set up the new one.

??

Thanks,

Clark

What do you mean by your "Control device"?  Keypad?  Removing and adding components can be done at the website if you have the 24.99 total command monitoring plan, or the keypad.

Yeah,  I knew that the term "Control device" would get me in trouble.

I meant the Base Station.

I had random beeping (like a door sensor opening sound) from the original Base Station.  SimpliSafe replaced it.   I still have it in the box.

I have the $24.99 monitoring plan.

I'm on the website right now, looking around.    I don't think the Base Station is a device.  It's not listed there anyway.   And it's not listed anywhere else.

So, the question should be "How do I replace my old Base Station with a new one that I have in hand ?"

Thanks

Hi @Clark711

You can switch to a new Base Station in the app! First, click on the three lines at the top left, then click "Activate New Service". Next you will choose "Transfer Monitoring". You can now scan the QR code on the bottom of the new Base Station to transfer your service.

Hope that helps!

@Clark711 Hope you get this your beeping at 3am solved. If you still have issues, you can call support to troubleshoot. My base is set to no lights, no sound and hidden in upstairs back bedroom. Congrats on your new system and happy new year!
