Try using the master USB key fob. Connect it to computer/laptop, launch the software and enter the number on the keypad. Plug the USB key fob into the base station and it will automatically update to include the keypad. Very easy.
If you have SS3, you can try to take out the batteries in the keypad and re-insert them, and/or, reboot the base station. If that doesn't resolve the issue, call SS for assistance.
