Hi @jimbo4600 ,
We might need a bit more info, since there are a few things you could be asking about.
But assuming that you mean the Motion Sensor, which is part of the alarm system, it's activated when you arm your system. By default, it is disabled during Home Mode, and active during Away Mode. But you can change that in the settings.
You might also be asking how to test that your Motion Sensors are working. Here are instructions for putting your system into Test Mode and testing your sensors.
