Hearing door access upstairs?

Our base has to be on the first floor as it covers the basement/first floor access points (windows and doors) but we'd like to be able to hear if the doors open (say in the basement -- perhaps from teenagers wanting to sneak out, for example!) But as I understand it - the only way to hear the chimes is to move the base station upstairs to the second floor - which we can't do, obviously because the windows and doors on the first floor and in the basement are what we're trying to monitor!  Is there any way to hear a chime other than from the base station? When I asked this initially I was told the key pad would chime so I bought an additional key pad to keep in our bedroom but it turns out that is not accurate and it can just activate and deactivate the system....

In short- we are not so much keeping people out, but wanting to keep taps of keeping kids and friends IN during sleepovers and such -- hahahah....  Thanks so much!

Hi @kerijeanne ,

Welcome to our Community! What you're looking for is the Wireless Siren, which can relay not just the main alarm sound, but also the Door Chime. You can learn more about it here.
